Question

What is the attire?

Answer

Black tie optional (gowns or cocktail dresses and tuxedos or suits). Dress to impress but don't forget your dancing shoes!

Question

Can children attend?

Answer

As much as we love your children, we want the adults to enjoy the night so please keep kiddos at home.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are sorry there are no plus ones, only those names listed on the invitation are invited.

Question

What is it like to attend an Orthodox Christian wedding ceremony?

Answer

Expect a 45 minute service with periods of standing. The wedding ceremony of the Orthodox Christian Church is an ancient and meaningful service that has been celebrated in its present form for centuries. The service is abundant with symbols that reflect marriage. Please silence your cell phones and save your clapping for the reception.

Question

What to expect at a reception when the bride is Lebanese?

Answer

You will not leave hungry or thirsty! Expect lots of dancing and a mix of American and Arabic music. Unsure how to Lebanese dance? No problem, just grab a hand and join in the dancing line, we promise you will have fun. Don't be alarmed if you see people dancing with drinks on their head... especially the mother of the bride.
