Matron of Honor
Noelle and Christa first met about 7 years ago at a Pitt tailgate. Since then they have laughed and cried together, traveled near and far together, and celebrated so many happy occasions. Noelle is always there to lend an ear or a helping hand. Because of her smarts, planning skills, decisiveness, and vast knowledge of weddings and pop culture, she is the perfect person to help ensure Christa has the wedding of her dreams!
Bridesmaid
Kayla is Christa’s baby sister, 15 months her junior. Growing up they did everything together, including playing Barbies, playing house, riding bikes and crushing Donkey Kong on Super Nintendo. As adults they have remained close and continue to spend a lot of time together - although no longer playing house but maintaining real ones. Kayla is kind, beautiful, smart, empathetic and caring - traits that she displays everyday as a nurse and mother. She is always there for Christa when she needs her and the only person who speaks “Christa language” fluently. They have been through so much together throughout their lives and Christa is so happy Kayla will be a part of her special day.
Best Man
Ben and Dan have a great friendship and the type of brotherly love that’s only gotten better with age. Yet Ben is not just an obvious choice for best man because he’s the brother of the groom - He’s also incredibly smart, loving and empathetic, and always there to help you out of a jam. Not to mention, handsome, witty, and can sing! So keep your eyes out for this eligible bachelor, don’t challenge him to a nap, and be ready for his charm to put a smile on your face.
Officiant
Dave and Dan have been friends since freshman year of college at Pitt. From tailgates and hanging at Trees pool, to road trips across the country and an epic 30th trek to Iceland, they’ve experienced a lot together. Their bond became stronger as Christa became close friends with Noelle, Dave’s wife and the matron of honor. Get this group of four together and you’ll be sure to partake in spirited debates about important and mundane topics alike, hear some quotes from The Office, and eat a great meal. But through all the travels, meals, and arguments, Dave has gotten to know Dan and Christa individually and as a couple better than almost anybody, so there couldn’t be a better person to officiate their marriage.
