To know Melissa, is to love her. Cassie and Melissa’s friendship has been going strong for 9 years now. They met back in 2014 at The Summit where they both worked and have been inseparable since. Melissa has such a beautiful, kind soul and is such a light in Cassie’s life. She has truly been there through for it all; The ups, the downs, the celebrations, the losses, the happy days, the sad days. Cassie can’t imagine life without Melissa in it and is so blessed for her to have this role to stand right by Cassie on her wedding day.

Josh is Daniel’s older brother. Growing up, Josh has always been someone that looked out for Dan, especially with tough love. Even though the two are now grown and in different states, Josh is always a phone call away for Dan, just as Dan is for him. Their brotherly bond is unbreakable.

Emily is Josh’s wife, Daniel’s sister in law, and Cassie’s future “sissy”. Emily and Cassie hit it off as soon as they met. Emily has such a fun personality, is spunky, and has a big heart. Both ladies grew up as an only child, so they are both over the moon to become “sisters”!

Brandon is a lifelong friend of Daniel's. Their friendship started many years ago at Cool Branch Fire Company where Daniel began volunteering as a teenager. Brandon is a loyal friend and truly would give the shirt off his back for anybody. Brandon has been a call away in a time of need and has always had an open door for Daniel.
Caitlyn Williams

Caitlyn and Cassie have been friends for 7 years now. Their friendship started in 2016 and has really grown over the years; they were even roommates for awhile. Although their friendship has faced trials and triumphs, Cassie is so blessed to have Caitlyn in her life and even more blessed to have Caitlyn stand beside her on her wedding day.
Jake Davidson

Jake (pictured in the middle) has been a friend of Daniel’s since their Liberty days when they were college roommates. Jake has been a close friend for many years now. Unfortunately, Jake now lives in Knoxville Tennessee but him and Daniel are still close and talk on a regular basis.
Wendy Gillespie

Wendy and Cassie became friends in 2014 also while working at The Summit. Wendy, Cassie, and Melissa all hit it off together and have been the perfect trio of friends sjnce. The three have been on many girl trips together, including 2 west coast girls trip, and they always make the best memories together. Wendy is the true definition of an amazing friend. She is always a phone call away and will do what she can for anyone. Wendy is such a blessing in Cassie's life. Cassie has no idea where she would be in this world without Wendy and the friendship that she has brought along the way and knew that she needed Wendy by her side on her wedding day.

Shaun (pictured to the right) is Daniel's original college roomate. Him, Jake, and Daniel all roomed together for awhile during college. Unfortunately, Shaun also lives in Nashville Tennessee now but him and Daniel also keep in touch and Daniel still considers him to be a close friend.
Micaela Hedrick

Micaela is Cassie’s cousin and they are only 7 months apart. Micaela has truly been one of Cassie’s besties quite literally since birth. There’s so many memories from sleepovers, trips, Sunday dinners at their grandparents, holidays, etc. While they have always been close, the two have went through a lot together such as learning how to navigate both losing their fathers. However, these events also brought the two closer as they learned to lean on each other during those difficult times. Now as adults in their late 20’s, Cassie truly cherishes the bond that her and Micaela have and is so blessed to have Micaela in her life. Cassie can't imagine saying "I do" without Micaela standing by her on her wedding day.

Donald is also one of Daniel’s good friends and prior co-workers. Their friendship began prior to joining Gretna Fire & Rescue, however the friendship grew stronger after Daniel joined. Donald is always a phone call away and Daniel immediately knew he wanted Donald to be beside him on his wedding day.
Ashley Wade

Ashley is also Cassie’s cousin. While the two are 5 years apart, they almost share birthdays as their birthdays are only 1 day apart. Ashley and Cassie have always been close. When Ashley was younger, she used to be glued to Cassie’s hip and would follow Cassie any and everywhere she went. Cassie and Ashley also have went through some tough family situations that have brought them closer as well. Cassie is also blessed to share the bond that her and Ashley have, and couldn’t imagine saying “I do” to her forever without Ashley being by her side.

Kathy is Cassie’s mother. While the times were not always easy for Kathy or Cassie, Kathy always did the best she could for Cassie growing up, no matter what life threw their way. Cassie is very thankful to have Kathy in her life and to share this day with her mama.

Kathy is Daniel’s mother. She has been so since 1998. Kathy has been a solid rock for Daniel and someone he looks up to as well. Daniel is pleased to share this special day with his mom.
Tyler Wade

Tyler is Cassie’s cousin on her father’s side. Tyler and Cassie have been close ever since the two were little and their bond has only grown closer over the years. While they have always been close, Tyler stepped up in Cassie’s life after her dad passed away in February 2020. Little did they know at the time, Tyler would be losing his father as well only a few weeks after Cassie lost hers. Learning to navigate those tough times together brought them closer than ever. The two are more like siblings, which can be proven by their abilities to argue with one another, but that doesn’t change their love for each other. Tyler has come to Cassie’s aid in the middle of the night, held her while she’s cried, made her laugh when she didn’t want to, and has been there for all of her accomplishments in life. He cheers her on in this world and always makes sure to let her know how proud he is of her, just as she is him. Cassie is beyond thankful for the bond that she has with Tyler and for the special role Tyler plays in her life. She truly couldn’t think of anyone else to take her dad and papa’s place in giving her away to the love of her life, other than Tyler.

Emerson is Cassie’s papa, although he was so much more to her than just that. Emerson was like a second father to Cassie, as she lived with him from the time she was 16 to 19. He was her best friend, her biggest supporter, and her rock. Emerson passed away January 18, 2021. Emerson was one of a kind. He was a man of his word, a godly man, a patient man, a selfless man, and loved his family more than anything in this world. Cassie loved her papa more than anything and also plans to honor him on her wedding day as well.
