Maid of Honor
Sophie is basically Caley's long lost twin. Try not to get them confused on the wedding day! Their friendship blossomed in 4th grade when Sophie's mother taught Sophie & Caley sign language. They both danced at Dance for Joy and Jody B's Dance Studio for many years & remained best friends through college. 99% of the adventures they have together never go as planned. They usually end up in ruins with both of them frazzled, dying of laughter, lost & stranded somewhere (probably because they are both directionally challenged). At the end of the day, they are always thankful they have each other to make mistakes & memories with.
Best Man
Double-D, Derek Dumani grew up with Dan in the church, but they didn't become close until high school. Dan gives all credit to Derek for helping him step out of his comfort zone with talking to girls. They set out on a journey full of learning, laughter, failure, and embarrassment that eventually led to Dan finding Caley and getting hitched. After all they've been through- the youth group retreats, beach trips, and visits to Syracuse University- there is no amount of time or distance that can separate these two.
Maid of Honor
Sara and Caley both went to the same high school. After 3 weeks of nonstop talking during orchestra class (sorry Ms. Derse!) they decided that they were going to be best friends. Sara became a food truck manager for Macarollin' and worked alongside Caley for many years. Caley's parents considered her their second daughter as she spent most of her summers living at the Andrews household playing euchre. Some of their fondest memories came from working 18 + hour shifts together, car rides through the night, campfires in Sara's backyard, and one too many trips to Ben & Jerry's. No matter how far apart in distance they are, they still remain best friends at heart.
Best Man
Jason, like Derek, grew up with Dan in the church, making him one of Dan's oldest childhood friends. The two have spent countless days wrenching on cars, going way too fast on I-80, gallivanting from diner to diner, and pizzeria to pizzeria, and driving their mothers crazy. At the end of the day, no matter what trials or tribulations are thrown their way, they have always been there for one another. Jason will always be called a brother.
Bridesmaid
Maddie & Caley met their freshman year of college when their dorm rooms were across the hall and they ended up going to the same church. They bonded over their love for Gilmore Girls, hiking, and chai. Maddie & Caley had many fun college experiences like sledding on bin lids, spring break trippin' across Virginia, and going on hiking trips with the Adventure Club. Maddie & Caley have always been there for each other whenever one of them needed a listening ear, prayers, or spiritual advice.
Groomsman
Matt and Dan met as college sophomore engineering students at Messiah college, and have been close friends ever since. What started out as simply studying engineering principles that they both probably have forgotten already, quickly turned into countless weekends of skiing/snowboarding, downtown barhopping, skeet shooting, and making fun of flat-earth documentaries.
Bridesmaid
Lindsey & Caley are childhood best friends- sometimes referred to as the "giggle girls" or the "laffy taffy's." They joke that they knew each other before they were born because their parents and grandparents were good friends. They grew up playing with their American Girl Dolls, choreographing dances, building forts, mattress surfing down the stairs (when mom wasn't home of course), and annoying their older brothers whenever they had the chance. Without planning it, they both ended up going to the same college!
Groomsman
Growing up, Caleb and Caley were the hot & cold and yes & no of brothers and sisters. One moment they would be arguing over the nutritional value of a donut, and the next moment they would be jamming to T-swift in the car. Now that they are grown up (minus the actual growing part), Caleb and Caley have formed a close bond; though they don't get to see each other much in person, they enjoy calling each other to catch up on their jobs, love lives, and crazy adventures.
Bridesmaid
Elyssa & Caley met on a roommate finder last year and have lived with each other for a year now. They quickly realized how much they have in common, including their love for gardening, hiking, and learning survival skills. Elyssa has encouraged Caley in her faith & is always down to having Jesus talks. She is the kind of person who will always be there for her friends no matter what. Caley feels lucky & blessed to have met her.
Groomsman
Brian is the brother that won the gene lottery compared to Dan. Although 2 years younger than Dan, he has managed to rise 2 inches taller than him, and grow a full beard before Dan ever saw any peach fuzz. Regardless, many fond memories were made together including big-wheeling down Grandma's driveway, killing each other in Call of Duty, and crashing into strangers on skis.
Bridesmaid
Brooke & Caley are both teachers at the same school in Manassas Park, VA. They met at a new teacher staff meeting and hit it off right away. Now they are like two peas in a pod! They both go to the same church & are in a bible study together. They spend countless hours hanging out & somehow manage to set off fire alarms wherever they are. They love going to wine tastings, playing board games, exploring the greater DC area, and lesson planning at new coffee shops. Brooke has truly made Virginia feel like home to Caley.
Groomsman
Matt, the next younger brother, has always been the comedian of the family. Whether it's listening to Matt shred guitar, or laughing relentlessly at Tobey Maguire memes, Dan has always enjoyed spending time with him. Matt's frequent changes in wardrobe, hairstyle, and music tastes keep his family on their toes, and may have raised a few eyebrows, but his sense of humor continues to put a smile on Dan's face or leave him on the floor laughing.
Usher / Groomsman
Joseph is the youngest of Dan's brothers. Having to fend for himself against his three older brothers- Joseph turned out to be the toughest and most competitive among them. He amazes his whole family with his sick soccer skills, and reigns victorious in countless NERF wars because he was the smallest target to aim for. Dan has always had a compassionate attitude towards Joseph, and he continues to strive to be a positive role model to him.
