A historical park about 10 minutes away from the venue. The Battle of Cedar Mountain, also known as Cedar Run, took place on August 9, 1862, in Culpeper County, Virginia, as part of the American Civil War. This is a family friendly place to talk a nice walk or hike and explore the local history.

The Culpeper Downtown Farmers Market is the longest running and most successful market in the Culpeper area with over 30 booths ranging from vegetables & fruits, to bakery items and flowers. The market originally opened in the late 1950's. After residing at different locations over 50 years, the market finally shifted to its present location at the East Davis Street parking lot located in the Depot district. The market is open every Saturday, 7:30am - Noon.
This distillery is located in the heart of downtown Culpeper and only a 3 minute walk from the venue. Until 30 years ago, whiskey for popular consumption, had been made in column stills, handling thousands of gallons per hour. Only at Belmont Farm, their whiskey is produced in a genuine solid copper pot still. While others may be flooding the market, their pot still whiskey is slow and handled with care, to preserve all of the aroma and taste of a fine fresh whiskey. Their copper pot still is truly the secret of our whiskey.

Kids will be intrigued to learn that the Graffiti House is so named because of an upstairs room covered in graffiti left by both Union and Confederate soldier during the Battle of Brandy Station. Thirty-two soldiers have been identified as having left their marks on the walls, including General J.E.B. Stuart, the Commander of the Army of Northern Virginia Calvary who went on to become the President of the Confederate States of America.
