This will probably be the question we get asked most. A this time, we are currently at our MAX guest count. Your invite will state how many seats we have reserved in your honor. Once we start getting RSVPS back and if some people cannot attend, we will let you know if you can bring a plus one. We appreciate your understanding.
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us. The only children invited will be participating in the wedding.
We have made it easy for everyone! Everything will be held at The Haight in Elgin.
Parking is FREE! Upon arrival there is a parking lot on the side of the building. If you drive past the building, make a right and the parking lot is right there.
We recommend that you arrive a half hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!
Absolutely! There is elevator access to get to ceremony and reception location within the venue.
Ceremony is set to be held outdoors and reception indoors. If it rains, both will be held indoors.
Immediate family photos will be taken right after ceremony. Remaining guests can head straight to the reception hall where we will be serving finger foods and beverages.
Of course! We only ask that no cell phone pictures are taken during the ceremony. Any pictures taken after that are welcome. Be sure to use our hashtag #TwoHeartsMendezOne so we can keep track of all your pictures!
Cocktail Attire: Wear cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, and dark jackets and slacks.
Nearing end of Summer but may still be hot, so dress accordingly.
You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “regretfully delines,” so we can plan accordingly.
Yes food and drinks will be served. Dinner will be buffet style. If you are vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, or all of the above. Please check the correct box on the RSVP so we can notify our caterer of this request. We don't want anyone going hungry!
Yes we do! Please check out the Travel and Accommodations tab to book your hotel stay.
If 15 rooms get booked with our hotel block, a complimentary shuttle will take guests to and from the venue. If not, you will need to Uber/Lyft or have a designated driver.
