Casual! Just come and have a drink and say hello when you arrive.

Speeches to be given this night around 8:30 pm As you enter Sweet Briar go past the guard house. Turn Right on Power plant road before you get to the traffic circle. As soon as you turn on power point road park in the parking lot on the left - drinks are on the patio to the right if you're walking down power plant. If you past the physical plant or a nursery school you have gone too far. If you are staying at the Elston Inn this is in the same building and staff can direct you.

Wedding

Dressy casual to semi-formal

Wedding ceremony will be outdoors, weather permitting. The venue is accessible and we will make every effort to accommodate any mobility needs. Turn at the cow flags and follow the cow signs! We will have a small 12 person shuttle that will run approximately every 15 mins from the Elston Inn to the VCCA from 3:00 to 4:30. The VCCA has a beautiful grounds we welcome you to explore prior to the ceremony. Sculpture maps will be provided if you wish to wander the grounds. The Shuttle will make one stop at the Amherst Inn at 4pm. Uber and Lyft are limited in Amherst because it is so rural. Keep the good times rolling at Sweet Briar Lake for some fun in the sun to celebrate the holiday weekend. We will plan to swim and hang out on the dock. Light snacks, coffee, and some drinks will be provided.
