FESTIVE SEMI-FORMAL: COLORS and/or PATTERNS are STRONGLY encouraged. Elevated sun dresses, slip dresses, dressy skirt & top, or a fun jumpsuit. Festive button-down with slacks.
We can't wait to welcome all of you to the heart of the city! While there will be passed canapés, we recommend making reservations to eat dinner before or after the welcome party. Mingle, drink, and enjoy the start of our wedding weekend! This is an outdoor event on a rooftop.

Ceremony

GARDEN PARTY FORMAL: COLORFUL ensembles are STRONGLY encouraged for everyone. Floor-length gown, tea-length elegant cocktail dress or a chic jumpsuit. Suit ensemble (linen ok), with a colorful or patterned suit jacket and dress shirt, jazzed up with a bright tie and pocket square. Maybe avoid satin as chiffon, linen, & cotton would be more breathable. For shoes, think flats, wedges or block heels.
Starting off the evening in the beautiful Jardín de Los Lavaderos located inside Hotel Quinta Real -- a 16th-century convent turned boutique hotel. We ask that everyone keep their phone in their pockets so that we can all be fully present during the ceremony. The ceremony will be on a grass lawn, and under partial sun. Dress for warm weather in the afternoon (mid-80s) and slightly cooler (mid-70s) weather in the evening.

Oaxacan Surprise!

We will be walking as a group to the reception venue from the ceremony space. Wear comfy shoes (the streets are filled with beautiful cobblestone). Think flats, wedges, or block heels. It’s a 5 min walk but we’ll be doing some partying along the way. We can't wait to show you this Oaxacan wedding tradition!

Get ready to party! Our celebration of love continues with a delicious 4-course dinner catered by Casa Oaxaca, tasty drinks, great music, and definitely plenty of dancing! Be sure to choose the entrée for each member of your party when you RSVP.
