What's better than finger foods and fists full of pints? More pints! Following the welcome party at Bad Bob's, we'd like you all to experience the local culture in the Temple Bar area. And by "local culture" of course I mean "A Guinness or six, or seven, or eight". This will be unstructured, with groups going to different pubs in the area, so be prepared to moving around a bunch. This is an optional, informal event that we hope brings our attendees together.

Shuttle Bus #2 to Tinakilly Estate

11:45 am - 11:45 am

The second and final shuttle down to Tinakilly. I don't think anyone will miss this bus, but if you do, there are public bussing options available that will drop you about a mile from Tinakilly Country House.

Arrival at Tinakilly

1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

You'll use this time to sip some champagne, check-in to your room—should it be available—and wander the grounds for a bit before being seated for the ceremony.

Wedding Ceremony

2:00 pm - 2:45 pm

Formal Cocktail

It's here! We'll have a quick ceremony to seal the deal and marry. Come join us on the great lawn. Should it rain, the venue has backup options. But let's think happy thoughts instead, yeah?

Cocktail Hour

2:45 pm - 4:45 pm

As the Irish say, it's time for the 'drinks reception' (cocktail hour for most Americans). Let's kick off the celebrations and explore the grounds with a few drinks and some light acoustic music.

Yes, the hours are accurate! This is, apparently, normal for Irish weddings. So let's be normal and be merry—with food, libations, music, dancing, and more. For guests staying on the premises, your accommodations are a wobbly walk away. For all those staying in one of our selected nearby hotels, we're working to get a taxi or two to run back and forth at different intervals. Those exact details will be ironed out at a later date.

Buses back to Dublin

11:00 am

After checking out and eating, we'll have two buses departing from Tinakilly and heading back up to Dublin. IMPORTANT: These buses do NOT go back to the Travelodge Dublin City Centre. Instead, you will be dropped off at Busáras, which is a central bus stop in Dublin 1. To get from Busáras to the Airport, guests can easily transfer to a public bus via Dublin Express. The travel time is ~30 minutes and the cost is around 8-15 euro.
