Travel Note

Travel to Montauk

Montauk is at the furthest end of Long Island and there are many options to get there. If you are driving we recommend renting a car as soon as possible as many places to sell out. If you are not driving you can: -Take the Hamptons Jitney, a bus service with pickup stops throughout New York (our preferred method) -Take the Long Island Railroad from Penn Station to Montauk -Take a Blade helicopter (!) -Take a car service (Uber, Lyft or Carmel) Please see the below links for schedule and ticketing.

Hamptons Jitney

Our recommended way to get to Montauk is the Jitney, a bus service that picks up from a number of stops in Manhattan and goes out to Montauk. Rides can sell out so we recommend getting your tickets in advance!

The LIRR goes from Penn Station to Montauk but check the schedule as there are limited options.

Blade helicopters are a pricey, but fast and fun way to get out to Montauk

NYC has many airports but we recommend trying to fly into LaGuardia or JFK if possible. We do recommend booking your flights and your travel details as soon as possible.
