Thursday Dinner and Drinks

We encourage people to take a long weekend and arrive Thursday! While it is not an official wedding event, Virginia and Daniel will be dining at Scarpetta Beach at 7:00PM. We encourage you to make a reservation there, or for more casual light bites and drinks you can go to the Firepit. After dinner, we will be moving to the Firepit for drinks and hanging out. Both Scarpetta and the Firepit are located at Gurney's Montauk Resort, the sister property to Gurney's Star Island, abo.ut a 10 minute drive away from our hotel.

Friday Morning Hike

If anyone would like to join, Virginia and Daniel will be leading a (gentle) hike through a Shadmoor State Park in Montauk, weather pending. We will be meeting in the lobby of Gurney's Star Island at 10:00AM or you can meet at the entrance to Shadmoor around 10:30. It is less than a 5 minute drive from our hotel. The hike is not challenging but offers incredible views of the ocean. If you prefer, you are welcome to explore Montauk on your own, we have posted a number of activity options on the "Things To Do" tab on this website.

At midnight it will officially be Halloween, so we can't skip our annual party just because we're getting married! Please pack a costume to change into for the after party! There will be good music, light bites, drinks and maybe even some candy.

Brunch

There will not be an official wedding brunch but for those who are staying at Gurney's, we will be providing breakfast boxes that you can take to go for your travels home. The boxes should be available from about 9:00 AM on. However, you are welcome and encouraged to stay, eat breakfast and hang out at the hotel longer of course!
