Question

What are my options for accommodations?

Answer

We have done an exclusive land buy-out for Saturday night so everyone is covered for camping. All additional nights can be booked through Hipcamp via the "Cedar Bloom Wedding" tab. Each booking will accommodate 2 vehicles and up to 5 people, so coordinate with friends! When making said reservation, best to leave indicated guest count to 2 people. While most folks will be camping, there are a limited number of dwellings on the land available for renting. These can be booked on a first come first serve basis. You will notice that you cannot book them online for Saturday, which just ensures that the general public cannot access these during our exclusive buyout. In order to secure them for Saturday, simply book the surrounding days that you plan on staying, and the remainder of your payment will be collected onsite. For example, if you plan on staying Thursday-Sunday, reserve and pay for Thursday and Friday night online (which will lock down Saturday night for you) and payment for Saturday will be collected onsite by the venue directly. Here is the link for booking remaining nights https://www.hipcamp.com/en-US/land/oregon-cedar-bloom-3ex9h798/sites/704795?adults=1&children=0 For those who would prefer a hotel, we have a room block at La Quinta Inn in Grants Pass, under the name of Sarkar-Rieb. To be part of the disscounted rate, please call the front desk at (541) 472-0152. The last date to reserve a room in the block is August 22nd.

Question

Are meals communal?

Answer

We are thrilled to be offering four opportunities for shared meals together! Friday morning, Friday evening and Sunday morning we have optional meals that require RSVP. Please find more information under the "schedule" tab. Saturday dinner will follow the wedding ceremony and will be provided to all. Beyond these meals, please plan to cook on site or dine in town- there are several restaurants within 5 minutes.

Question

What should I bring to camp?

Answer

There is open, dispersed camping throughout the land. Bring as much or as little as you would like to feel comfortable! Your tents, trucks, vans, unicycles, instruments or anything else that will make you feel at home for the weekend. If you would like to camp but don't have a tent, you can rent a canvas tent through Cedar Bloom Farm's Hipcamp (these are set up in advance for you, but you will still need to bring your own bed/pad and bedding). Renting a travel trailer through Outdoorsy is another great option. If you plan on sleeping outdoors, bring a tent, sleeping bag and pad. -cook set up- there is an indoor/outdoor industrial kitchen that is available on site. If you prefer to have your own set up by your camp, many folks like to bring a propane camp stove, cooler and pans. Please also bring a container for water (there is a potable water fill point on site). If you're not excited to cook on site, you can opt into the catered meal additions and supplement with restaurants close by in town. -Clothing- swimsuit, towel and sun protection; warm clothing for the evening; something groovy to wear for the wedding (+ a mirror for getting ready could be helpful). -Visibility-head lamp, lantern or flashlight for walking around camp in the evenings. -Camp chair (there are picnic tables, so not essential, but may be a nice addition). -Something fun and a can do attitude!

Question

What are the amenities on site?

Answer

Among the thousands of trees and ample space to recharge, Cedar Bloom Farm also provides showers, composting toilets, a communal kitchen with 10 burner stove, potable water and power. It also boasts several pristine swimming holes, a sauna and an archery range. We encourage folks to take a look at the website/hipcamp to get a feel for the land.

Question

Getting there

Answer

Google or Apple maps will get you to the front gate if following directions to Cedar Bloom Farm. We will put up the gate code as we get closer to the date here on the website (the code changes periodically). Once in the gate, follow the road all the way down to the parking lot, where you will find a map of the grounds and an adjacent "camp store" staffed with a lovely manager who can help you get settled.

Question

Can I bring my 4 legged friends?

Answer

For this event we kindly ask to keep the pups at home, thanks in advance for understanding.

For all the days along the way
