Only a couple months after our engagement, we decided to have a "New Years Eve Glam" civil ceremony. We enjoyed a short and sweet ceremony on the stage of the historic Jane Pickens Theater, officiated by our friend Andy of the BitPlayers. After the ceremony, our small party enjoyed a screening of a favorite of ours "When Harry Met Sally," dinner across the street, a beautiful informal reception with friends in town, and wrapped the whole day up with Rob starring in a BitPlayers show! Whew! 

It was a perfect day. 
Perhaps we took this quote too seriously, but we plowed ahead with our marriage with this quote in mind:
