Courtney Cyr

Maid of Honor

Being only 17 months apart in age, Courtney has been by my side since the beginning and I wouldn't have it any other way on my wedding day. Growing up we were inseparable and did everything together - from singing Disney duets for our family, being middle school tennis partners, living together in Philly...the list goes on. My fondest and most cherished memories always include Courtney. Even though she is my sister by blood, I've been lucky to also call her my roommate, teammate, and most importantly one of my best friends. I'm beyond grateful to have such a thoughtful and caring person like her through the ups and downs of life. I am so proud to call her my sister AND Maid of Honor!

Jack Kersey

Best Man

I was blessed to be an only child for 11 years until one day I was pulled out of school and met Jack. I was skeptical at first, but this stranger grew to be one of my best friends. We spent lots of time playing the Xbox and throwing a ball in the yard, and I'm shamed to say he can now beat me in Madden (I remain undefeated in NCAA). My parents once got Jack a dog - a treeing walker coonhound - that I have successful claimed to assert my big brother status. Jack is the model middle sibling, and I'm glad my parents have kept him.

Amanda Cyr

Maid of Honor

Amanda may be my youngest sister but she is someone I truly look up to for so many reasons. She has the biggest heart and continues to be the glue that makes our family stronger. I vividly remember the moment I was called out of my 2nd grade class to meet my baby sister for the first time. Our 8 year age difference seemed so big in the beginning, but I can honestly say that she's grown to be one of my best friends who I can confide in for anything. Being her sister is one of the biggest honors in my life and her constant encouragement truly makes me want to be a better person everyday. I'm so lucky to have her standing next to me as my Maid of Honor this year!

Will Kersey

Best Man

As if it wasn't bad enough when I lost my only-child status with Jack, soon thereafter came another trip to the hospital to meet Will. Will spent a lot of time with Jack and I, and we all grew to hate each other only as brothers can. But that bond has only grown stronger, and Will is one of my best friends. Will didn't throw the ball in the backyard as much, because for some reason he can't throw a ball. Jack and I still enjoy our time with Will, and maybe one day we'll finally be able to have a nice catch.

Rachel Place

Bridesmaid

Rachel and I have been friends for over 20 years and I consider her to be one of my longest and truest friends! We met in Mrs. Sanni's 4th grade class and instantly hit it off after realizing we were also on the same swim team. We even had a joint Sweet 16 to celebrate our November birthdays (and if you know Rachel, she doesn't share her birthday celebrations with just anyone 😉 ). Throughout the years our relationship has only become stronger and I'm so grateful to still have her in my life today. As my friend, I know Rachel would do anything for me and she proves to be someone I can always count on. I'm so thankful for the unwavering loyalty and joy she has brought to my life the past two decades. I love her like a sister and I am so excited to have her part of our special day!

Jarrod Branch

Groomsman

Jarrod and I met at The Citadel (the military college of South Carolina), and clicked right away. While we were in different companies, Jarrod always found a way to hang out with The Frat. When not in Charleston, we still hung out up in Northern Virginia. Jarrod grew up just a short ride away from where I did, and we spent summers and time after college hanging out in Fairfax and D.C. We also managed to sneak a weekend in when his parents moved into their new house in Blufton, SC. I'm forever grateful to count Jarrod as a friend, and couldn't think of anyone else I'd rather have with me on this day.

Carly Hartman

Bridesmaid

Carly and I met during our freshman year of college and we instantly clicked when we realized we had so much in common - we were the oldest of 3 sisters, shared a passion for politics, and had a strong appreciation for good Italian food! The rest was history. Not only did we go to Georgetown together, but Carly referred me for a job at Facebook in 2019 and I feel so lucky to be able to call her a coworker a decade later. Carly is one of the most supportive and genuine people that I've ever met. She brings so much love and light into every room she's in and her positivity is contagious. At times I feel like we are the same person and I've never met someone who "gets" me as much as she does. Carly's friendship means the world to me and I'm so grateful to have her by my side in October!

Jake Isenberg

Groomsman

Jake and I went to law school together (go Cocks!). We were in the same section and enjoyed not really knowing what was going on our first year. We even studied for contracts together (though it didn't seem to help me too much). We had the same interests, mainly going to Jake's (the bar, he didn't have a place of his own) and not paying attention in class. We were roommates our last year there, and I have to take credit for getting him ready for married life (you're welcome Grace). We even have the same job, albeit in different states. Jake turned very quickly into one of my best friends, and i'm glad to have known him in law school and to have kept that friendship past it.

For all the days along the way
