Question
Will there be an event the night before the wedding?
Answer
Yes! We will host welcome drinks the night before the wedding (Friday, September 15) at the Calistoga Inn Restaurant and Brewery (5 min walk from Calistoga Hot Springs Resort) starting at 9:00 p.m. This is an optional event to welcome those who are already in town :).

What time should I arrive to Hans Fahden?
Answer
Guest arrival starting at 4:30 p.m. Please arrive by 4:45 at the latest to allow for seating. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5 p.m.

Will there be shuttles to and from the wedding venue?
Answer
Yes. One shuttle will be from Santa Rosa and depart from the Courtyard Marriott Santa Rosa at 4:00 p.m (last departure from the venue at the end of the night at 10:30 p.m). The other will leave from Calistoga at the Calistoga Hot Springs resort and depart at 4:15 p.m (last departure from the venue at the end of the night at 10:45 p.m.). Please be ready before the set departure times to ensure they are not missed.

How long will the wedding go to?
Answer
Last dance will be at 10:10 with bride and groom send-off at 10:20. Shuttles will leave at 10:30 and 10:45 as above.

What is the weather like in the area?
Answer
September in Napa Valley is beautiful. The average high is 81 degrees and the average low temperature is 52 degrees. Plan for warmer weather that may allow short sleeves, skirts, and shorts during the day time. When it cools down at night, a light jacket or wrap is good to have on hand.

Will children be invited to the wedding?
Answer
We love all your children! However, given the smaller wedding size and the winery setting, the occasion will be for adults only, with the only exception being for that of our wedding party (our flower girl / niece). We are letting you know in advance so that there is ample time to make childcare arrangements. For those of you with young ones, we hope you will be able to join us regardless, but completely understand if this will preclude your attendance.

Do you recommend spending a few extra days in the area before or after the wedding?
Answer
If you have the time, it could be a great idea to extend this trip into a vacation! Napa Valley is one of the most beautiful domestic destinations to enjoy, and September is one of the best times to visit! You can enjoy the abundant food destinations, wineries, nature/hiking, hot springs, etc. that the area has to offer!
