Red Rock Canyon
Whether you want to hike or just drive the 13-mile scenic drive, Red Rock Canyon was one of our favorite places to frequent. It takes you away from the lights and whistles of the city and into the majestic beauty of the desert landscapes. It's best to make a reservation on the site! Our favorite trails are Calico Tanks (moderate hike, beautiful views) and the Children's Discovery Trail (family friendly, great photo ops)
Mothership Coffee Roasters
Our favorite coffee shop. Cristina drinks the iced bourbon vanilla latte and Alex drinks the iced hazelnut. There are four locations - two in Henderson, one in Summerlin, and one in the Arts District.
Makers & Finders
Cristina's favorite. Coffee, brunch, drinks, etc. There are two locations. One in the Downtown Summerlin Mall and one in the Arts District.
Broken Yolk Cafe
Alex's favorite. Breakfast & lunch. Located in the Town Square Outdoor Mall.
Tenaya Creek Brewery
The first time we hung out, we got drinks here.
Able Baker Brewing
Our favorite brewery. The food is great too.
Nevada Brew Works
Another great place to eat and drink in the Arts District.
ReBAR
Our favorite bar. We recommend the $3 mystery beers. Also, take a look around. All the eclectic decor is for sale!
Ross J's Aloha Grill
If you're looking for a delicious meal on a budget, look no further. Their Hawaiian food is our fav. We get the Spicy Korean Chicken Bowl with Fried Rice. They close early and get busy, so heads up!
Herbs and Rye
A steakhouse with the best happy hour steaks and drinks. If you're looking for a nicer meal with a Vegas feel, this is our go-to.

Yummy seasonal Italian located in the Art's District.
