We're Getting Married!

Ryan and I met while working for Kroger during pharmacy school in 2015. After a little (ok, a lot) of cat and mouse over the years, we finally decided to give dating a shot in September 2019, and haven’t looked back since! Through a mutual love of travel, golf, and of course, Georgia sports, and the woes of pharmacist life during a pandemic, we’ve become each other’s best friend and look forward to building a life together.

Our friends planned a group trip to the Dominican Republic around my 30th birthday. Since my birthday was on Sunday, everyone else had already gone home but we stayed the extra day to celebrate. Ryan planned a private dinner on the beach and organized a photo shoot “as my birthday present.” At the photographer’s direction, I had my back to Ryan for a picture, but when I turned around, he was on one knee! Shock and (happy)tears immediately followed, strangers cheered from a distance as I said “yes,” and we have the pictures to tell the story of a lifetime. We spent the rest of the evening soaking in the moment, then shared the exciting news with friends and family the next day.
