When your invitation arrives, please search for your name in our RSVP tab and reply electronically by November 7th. You will then have the option to select the events you plan to attend, and inform us of any dietary restrictions.
Our event will be long cocktail attire. Men are welcome to wear dark suits; please no jeans. Women are welcome to wear floor length dresses. Please avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride, like white, ivory, cream, and beige. This may be a wedding in December, but it is not Christmas yet, so please avoid red - old tradition also symbolizes red as a color for women who have slept with the groom! How scandalous!
If you are staying at the Courtyard by Marriott, there will be a shuttle to and from the venue. The hotel and venue are less than 10 minutes apart. The shuttle will depart at 3:15pm for a 4:00pm ceremony start. The shuttle will return to the hotel after you send the Bride and Groom off to their Tahiti honeymoon! Uber and Lyft do travel around Dripping Springs, but can be limited.
We kindly ask that you put away all electronic devices and be fully present with us as we become Mr & Mrs. Our photographer and videographer will be sure to capture all of the special moments and we will be happy to share those with you once we receive them. However, please feel free to start posting any personal photos you take during cocktail hour!
As much as we love your children, we want you to be able to take the night off and let loose with us. For that reason, this will be an adult only party! However, families are more than welcome to bring your kids to Austin and enjoy family time outside of the specified wedding events.
The formal invitation you receive will indicate who exactly is invited. We thank you for your understanding.
As of right now, weather permitting, we are hoping to have a beautiful outdoor cocktail hour. The ceremony, reception and dancing will take place inside.
To ensure you get to see the ceremony from start to finish (and grab a good seat) we recommend showing up at least 20 minutes in advance (3:40pm). Meet for the shuttle service in the lobby of the Courtyard Marriott at 3:15pm.
We have chosen a selection of beer, wine and signature drinks for you to choose from at no cost to you.
