Morgan and I grew up as close as sisters, because in many ways - - we are! Our mothers are sisters, and fathers are brothers - - making us double first cousins! 

We grew up geographically close to each other too and spent entire summers together at the beach, or going camping with our families. As we've navigated adulthood, we have spent weekends skiing, traveling, and enjoying nights out. 

Choosing Morgan to be my Maid of Honor was a no brainer. Mainly because she chose herself when we were young. I didn't even officially ask her after Zak and I got engaged. I simply sent her 2 different colors and asked her to pick one for her dress.

Picking a best man can be a difficult decision to make. For me, however, it was easy. Even if I wasn't obligated to pick my brother (I am), Sam would still be my top choice. We have always had a great relationship. 

Although we now live in different states and don't see each other super often, we're on the phone or texting everyday. He's one of my best friends, and I consider myself fortunate to have him stand up with me when I get married!
