Our first national park together was Congaree in South Carolina. It was also the first time we said "I love you"! Here we are with Courtney's family dog, Teddy.
The first park on our epic National Park Roadtrip the Summer of 2023 was Cuyahoga Valley National Park in Ohio. We got to the falls, and I immediately fell. Typical.
Indiana Dunes National Park was the 2nd national park on our roadtrip Summer 2023. Weather was cloudy, but we did multiple hikes and really explored.
Park number 3 on our roadtrip was Wind Cave. We initially booked a cave tour, but they were doing repairs and it was canceled. Luckily, we did 2 hikes above ground!
Badlands National Park was our 4th park on our roadtrip. This park was super awesome, because you can climb all over everything!
We spent a few days exploring Yellowstone National Park, our 5th stop. The park is so diverse and had so many smells.
Grand Teton National Park was our final stop, and was absolutely stunning.
In Everglades National Park we did a free ranger led kayak tour into the salt water part of the park (not where alligators hang out, but we did see a crocodile).
It may not have been the warmest day for it, but we snorkeled in Biscayne National Park before sneaking off for a quick hike.
For a long weekend, we visited Kentucky and Tennessee and finally got in a cave tour, this time at Mammoth Cave National Park, the biggest cave system in the world!
We completed the Old Rag Summit Loop in Shenandoah National Park during Spring Break 2024. It wasn't easy coming off a lazy winter, but the views were beautiful!
We visited America's newest national park, New River Gorge in West Virginia. The views from the visitor center alone are stunning, but there is so much history in the park to explore.
We traveled to Acadia National Park in Maine, August 2024.
