Maid of Honor
Chelsea is my little sister, and the more outgoing out of the two of us. We are constantly asked if we are twins, share MANY of the same mannerisms, yet are SO different. The strongest, most caring and loving person I know, I can't image anyone else standing next to me on the big day. We have traveled the world, been through so many highs and lows together, but have the strongest bond I wouldn't trade for the world. Our love of cannolis, pasta and arancini is nothing compared to our love for each other. Together, anything is pastable.
Best Man
Carter was randomly selected to be my roommate/responsibility at Hill at age 13. Carter has saved my tail more than I can count. A man of reason and someone who I call on for advice. He is the soon to be husband of Kristina Breux (Courtney's best friend from Roanoke), so we've been fortunate enough to intertwine our lives through our future wives.
HBIC (Head Bestie/Bridesmaid In Charge)
Kristina and I have lived together in 2 different countries, 3 different cities, 4 different buildings, traveled to 9+? countries over the past 10 year.....you get the idea. While we can't be sure, it's likely Kristina who nominated me take Fred to our Phi Mu formal in 2009. We are similar in just most ways: from our love of pasta and cheese, shoe size, wedding aesthetic...the only major issue with our friendship is we both have the same best side. I 'm so lucky to have Kristina by my side & honored to be her MOH (when she marries Freds best friend, Carter, a month before us)!
Groomsman
The weirdest on of the bunch, Brock and I became quick friends at Roanoke while living next door as Freshman. Courtney and I have fond memories of Brock's wake-up calls when he would be the last one home from the bar. The most selfless person of anyone I know, he would give you the shirt off his back, if he ever wore a shirt.
Bridesmaid
The southern belle Barbie to my sassy northern Theresa. Kelly and I became good friends when we peer pressured her to join a spring break trip to FL when she was pledging Phi Mu as a freshman. At some point while romping around Salem, Kelly and I became the closest of friends and lived together college. The most fun, easy going and calming friend I have, Kelly is the first person that comes to mind when planning any tropical getaway. While we live 600+ miles away and I'm 99% sure she'll never move north (despite my efforts), there hasn't been a week that's gone by without an hour long call or Facetime Both Fred and I cannot imagine our lives without Kelly and are so excited for many more trips to Villa Jamie. Spy Mus for life.
Groomsman
Stefan and I have been great friends since our Hill School days. While Stefan has often prevented me from getting into trouble, don't let his stoic appearance and mature personality fool you, he always has a prank or 2 up his sleeve. From Hill to Fenwick to New York, Stefan and fiance, Anna, have been loyal friends for years and I can't wait to be part of their wedding in May 2019.
Bridesmaid
While we were friendly in college both being in Phi Mu, Sophie is another person I became great friends with by peer pressuring them (forcing her to sign a lease over Thanksgiving so I could make her before my roommate so we could move into an apt in NYC 3 days later). I can always count on Sophie for shopping or to try out a new fitness class. The most responsible and kind friend I have, I am so honored to be Sophies bridesmaid when she marries DJ (Freds groomsman) in October on the Cape!
Groomsman
Tom Cat or "The" Cat, is the Baltimore representative of the group. Tommy will be the groomsman trying to plug in his Iphone to play music over the band during the reception. Not just any music, but something along the lines of Ukranian Trance or Chernobyl House music--his 2 favorite genres. (seriously) A Roanoke and proud Sigma Chi alumni like myself, Tommy set his sites for the Big Apple after college and we've been lucky to spend our early career years together in NY. He's the type of friend that will call you 10 times consecutively until you say yes to whatever he has planned. Relentless in his approach and "Cat" like with his execution.
Bridesmaid
My pasta sista. Allie and I bonded at Roanoke over our love of our sorority, being tan, but most importantly: pasta and cheese. A true fun time, Allie will always be there to party, brunch, etc (she just may be 15 minutes late). Allie is a kind, hard loving friend, and I am so excited to have her hype me up throughout wedding festivities leading up to the big day.
Groomsman
Friends for 15 years since our time at Hill, no one was ever aware Max was an Eagles fan until they reached the Super Bowl. Max has put in many driving hours over the years to meet in NYC or Fenwick for a weekend on short notice. He may be a bandwagon fan, but not a bandwagon friend, Max is loyal to a fault. If you are trying to locate Max during the festivities, he is likely the one dancing with the flower girls to catch the eye of the older females in attendance.
Bridesmaid
Lauren and I were freshman year roommates at Roanoke and despite living in a dorm room intended for one person, we somehow didn't kill each other and our friendship lives on! Lauren has taken care of me on multiple occasions and helps keep the rest of us in line. From sunny Salem to our engagement in St Thomas, Lauren has been there for so many memories. Much to her dismay, September 21st will be one of the few days of the year Lauren isn't wearing black ;)
Groomsman
Courtneys little brother and my psuedo little brother. Brandon has 2 older sisters (Courtney and Chelsea), and of course I am blessed with 2 younger sisters, Vic and Caroline. If you happen to have a conversation about Alabama at any point during the festivities, you 100% were talking to Brandon. Brandon is a baseball fanatic like myself. Entry level Yankee fan...but steering him towards the Orioles, he recognizes that Baltimore is a better baseball town. Maybe has the brightest future of the entire bunch, if I had to pick a horse, he's where I would put my money. ($2 to win). Rolllllll Tide
Bridesmaid
The older of Freds two younger sisters, Victoria (like the other Wetzelberger children) is the life of the party. Although she is an interior designer in Philadelphia by day, during our wedding weekend you can find her on the dance floor. Despite having seen me at my best and worst, I can count on her for anything. I'm so lucky to be gaining two new sisters , especially one as fun and caring as Victoria.
Groomsman
DJ Job Title: Professional Hype Boy Nickname: QB 1 100% of his day will be spent on the dance floor. If you are curious why the groomsmen keep huddling, its because we are waiting on DJ to call the next play. When Sophie, a bridesmaid of Courtney's and DJ's fiance, introduced us 6 years ago Courtney says it was like a "bromance" overnight. He's already asked me how many times the band can play "Shout" during the reception. Tall, Dark and Handsome he is known for his charm and will likely be in direct competition with Max over who gets the first dance with the flower girl.
Bridesmaid
The youngest of the Wetzelberger siblings, and I have been there to see Caroline grow up so much! From high school to college graduation to working for the Cuiinary Institute and living in Napa, Caroline and I have shared so many memories. Whether it's booze cruises in the BVIs or picking crabs in Fenwick, we always have a good time together. I am so excited to have her as my bridesmaids, sister in law and private chef!
Groomsman
Kid invented the nickname "Frayde." Not on purpose, that's the only way he knows how to pronounce it with his unique Eastern Shore of Virginia accent. Jon, aka Boss as most people know him, and I go way back to youth baseball days starting at age 12. There is actually no better person to ask for a good Fred story than Jonathan. We have racked up quite a few, as both of our parents can attest. A trusted confidante in all facets of life, Jon and I often bounce nonsense business ideas off of one another. His attitude and loyalty are noticeable in your first conversation with him, and there's no one else I'd rather get into a bar fight with.
