Airport to Marina Transportation
Answer
Arrange for a ride from the airport to the marina by either renting a car or scheduling a shuttle. You can also call a local taxi company or rely on Uber to get you there. Bald Head Island Ferry & Tram Service

Plan ahead for your ferry ride to the island — a quick 20-minute boat ride with indoor and outdoor seating. You can buy tickets at Deep Point Marina in Southport where there's seating, wifi, snacks and beer. Tickets are round-trip and are $23. But it's recommended that you purchase ferry tickets ahead of time to arrange for a tram. The free tram will meet you at the Marina on BHI and take your group (and included luggage) to your house. Golf Carts

(1) Bring Layers — the open air rides can be cold (2) Mark your Cart — the golf carts can nearly identical so bring something (tape label, a hat, etc) to easily identify yours after events (3) Remember to Charge — they should be fully charged when you arrive to your house but remember to plug them in when you're not using it so that it doesn't die If you'd like to rent an additional cart or if you're having cart problems, visit carycartco.com or call (910) 457-7333

Stop for Liquor
Answer
There is no liquor store on the island. There is wine, beer, etc. available on the island at the Maritime Market and Dockmaster Convenience Store, and Jules' restaurant has a great cocktail list — Drunken Pineapple is our favorite. But if you want liquor for your house, plan to have your driver from the airport stop at a liquor store in Southport along the ride.

Island Climate
Answer
(1) Temperature — based on averages, it could be anywhere from 74 to 52 degrees (2) Bring Layers — both our rehearsal dinner and ceremony are outside in the early evening so make sure you're comfortable (3) It gets Dark — please be aware and use your maps because the island is kept dark for the turtles and it's easy to get turned around For the rehearsal dinner, we will be under a tent. However, the ceremony will be held in a park with no overhead covering. In the event of rain, please feel free to bring an umbrella or even skip the ceremony and join us after to celebrate at the reception at the Shoal's Club where we will be inside!
