Whether hiking, camping or simply driving through, “The Park” is magical. It is an Ancient Desert spanning over 790,000 Sq. acres. That’s bigger than the state of Rhode Island. Seriously, it’s so fun… but it’s still a desert. And like most deserts, it can be hostile and unforgiving. So be warned. In the National Park there is: NO WATER (bring more than enough) NO ELECTRICITY NO STREET LIGHTS NO FOOD SERVICE (bring food) NO LODGING/HOTELS (only camping) and NO CELL SERVICE There are toilets, but not the flushing kind, so come prepared! The WEST ENTRANCE (main entrance) is just up the road from our venue, Sacred Sands, but has been known to have long wait lines on weekends. Either get there early, or check out the other entrances: West (Main) Entrance (Hwy 62, in Joshua Tree) For visitors coming from Los Angeles / San Diego / Palm Springs North Entrance (Hwy 62, in 29 Palms) Tip: Lines are much shorter here on weekends! South Entrance (Off Hwy 10)
We discovered The Integratron while we were shopping for wedding venues in the desert. The Integratron is the fusion of Art, Science and Magic. This historical structure is a resonant tabernacle and energy machine sited on a powerful geomagnetic vortex in the magical Mojave Desert. This one-of-a-kind 38-foot high, 55-foot diameter, all wood dome was designed to be an electrostatic generator for the purpose of rejuvenation and time travel. Reserve a Sound Bath there! It's been described as "kindergarten nap-time for adults in a round sphere."
