Emma and Corey met at Cornell in the marching band. Corey, who grew up in the suburbs of Philly, was a band geek in high school and always had big plans to join a college marching band. Emma, who grew up in Germany, wasn't so sure and only joined after her mom, Carol, begrudgingly dragged her to sign up. They like to think that they never would have met without Carol's guiding force. They had their first date in 2013 at a very average Italian restaurant. One of their favorite college memories is in their senior year when they enrolled in a cardio kickboxing class together. They thought it would be fun and a good way to stay active during the Ithaca winter. It turned out the course was entirely made up of freshman girls and Corey almost failed for missing too many classes. Emma and Corey thrive on new adventures and experiences, including a trip to Emma's hometown of Wiesbaden, Germany and completing an Ironman triathlon. Corey took that sense of adventure to heart when he proposed to Emma on a mountaintop during a ten-mile hike in Grand Tetons National Park. We're so incredibly excited to have all of our friends and family come together in April 2022 to celebrate our wedding. We would be honored to see you there!
