Wedding Party

Meet our friends & family who will be walking down the aisle with us.

Lauren

Matron of Honor

Lauren has been Emily's best friend since the age of 3. From pre-school and questionable style choices throughout middle school & high school to navigating NYC and beyond together, she's been there since the very beginning. She's the epitome of a best friend. Emily couldn't even imagine her wedding day without Lauren by her side so to anyone who knows Emily well, Lauren as her matron of honor should come as no surprise.

Carly

Bridesmaid

Carly and Emily met way back in the day at Sewataro summer camp in Sudbury, MA and were reunited again years later by chance at the Natick Mall right before both starting at Ithaca College. Ever since then, Carly has been a constant for Emily, not only as a supportive friend, but especially when it comes to pop culture scandal breakdowns and obsessing over the latest cast of RuPaul's Drag Race.

Victoria

Bridesmaid

Victoria is one of Emily's nearest and dearest from growing up. While they naturally gravitated towards each other, their friendship was set in stone after spending spring break of their senior year of high school wreaking havoc in Italy. The two stayed close all throughout college and beyond and no matter the time that goes by or where they are in the world, Victoria has been there no matter what. Life would be so dull without her.

Devin

Bridesmaid

Not only is Devin Connell's twin sister, but Emily is beyond lucky to have her as a bridesmaid! Devin is always ready for a good time and lifts up every room she walks into. From spending time together in Lake Oswego, OR when visiting Connell's family to enjoying summertime in NYC when Devin made a solo trip out east, Emily can't wait to call Devin her sister.

Ryan

Best Man

Ryan and Connell met in their first week in Ithaca and quickly became friends. Through long nights of horror movies, FIFA, and Chinese food, Ryan finally broke Connell out of his shell. They shared an apartment in their first two years in NYC and have stayed close even on opposite sides of the country. He may have never been able to get Connell on a consistent workout schedule, but he can always be relied on for laughs and "hot dancing". Being Connell's best man was never a doubt.

John

Groomsman

Since early elementary school, John and Connell have shared a love of lacrosse and Triscuits. John always played taskmaster for Connell, introducing him to emo and indie rock, skinny jeans, and all things hipster. While they spent many years on opposite coasts, John has finally made his way to Brooklyn and the two have been able to continue indulging in good music and tacos together again.

Brandon

Groomsman

Brandon still reigns supreme over Emily as Connell's longest tenured roommate, sharing apartments in both college and NYC. They still play video games together multiple times a week and rant about the latest in tech and current events. Brandon leads in their all-time chess series 1-0 and will always serve as Connell's tech helpline when needed. You will have a hard time finding someone with a better laugh and smile.

Mark

Groomsman

Mark and Connell met in their ultra-advanced math class in 7th grade. Ever since, Mark has been splashing three pointers in Connell’s face and taking all his money in poker. From long weekends at Lincoln Beach to spike ball in Central Park, they’ve always found a way to engage in friendly competition, but can still find common ground in Vanessa’s dumplings and Sigrid. Despite living on opposite coasts again, they’re able to stay connected on the latest in Premier League happenings, being puppy dads, and indie rock tunes.

Drew

Groomsman

Even though Connell was legally obligated to like Emily's brother, Drew, he never found it too hard. Despite his abominable support of Boston sports teams (Connell's words, not Emily's), the two have been able to connect on their shared interest of finance and golf. Connell still claims credit for broadening Drew's beer horizons beyond Blue Moon and can't wait to call Drew his brother.

Justin

Groomsman

Justin is Connell’s older brother and has been a constant source of wonderful memories for as long as he can remember. From spending way too many hours making his Pinewood Derby car look cool (instead of fast) to teaming up on adolescents in paintball to stuffing their faces at Peter Luger’s, Justin always lays out the red carpet for Connell. His golf game also makes him a favorite partner of Connell’s when he’s looking for an ego boost and is Connell’s favorite conspiracy theory conversationalist.

Nick

MC & Usher

Nick became a permanent fixture in Connell and Emily's life in the fall of 2020 when he was introduced to them by Lauren (and recently became her husband!). He has since proven his worth as our personal sommelier and Connell's football companion. Through weekend getaways and rooftop hangs, Nick's dedication to Lauren has persisted in his support for and friendship to us. His effortless charm will be ever present as he takes on the role of MC and ushers in our guests in January.

Stephen

Usher

Stephen can always be relied on to bring the party. From shindigs at his Circle apartment in college to long nights at Porta down the shore, Stephen's never ending energy is the spark for many of Connell's greatest memories. They've spent many nights singing along to 2000s pop compilations with Lagunitas or playing flip cup with the rest of our college friends. His joyful exuberance will be greeting you all on our wedding day.
