Our story starts as most modern love stories do - online. While having so many mutual friends in college, Emily and Connell had never met and only knew of each other. After both graduating from Ithaca College in 2015, the two started responding back and forth to each other's Tweets and Instagram posts. After a summer of virtual communication only, Emily (with encouragement from her best friend Lauren and a few drinks) finally messaged Connell directly saying they should hang out when he moves to NYC. He agreed. September 2015 rolled around and Emily and Connell finally met in person at a mutual friend's (shout out to Schintz!) apartment in Brooklyn. From there, the rest is history. From enjoying live music whenever possible to indulging in everything NYC (and beyond) has to offer to becoming puppy parents, here we are almost eight years later officially tying the knot.
