Like many millennial couples, our story began with a swipe to the right. However, our path to finding each other wasn't so typical. It took two different dating apps, a year-long gap, and a global pandemic before we had the chance to meet. Our first date took place at a brewery in Rogers, Arkansas, where Jourdan was working as a sports anchor covering the University of Arkansas. Colton made the hour-long trek from his medical school in Joplin, Missouri.

Those treks became regular, fueled by a shared passion for sports, travel, adventure and each other. Colton quickly became a devoted fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks, while Jourdan did her best to understand Colton's medical jargon.

Realizing that an hour's distance was simply too far to bare, it was an easy choice for Jourdan to join Colton in Chicago for his residency. 

In March of 2023, during a trip to Mexico, Colton proposed! 

Now, we're so eager to embark on the next chapter and grateful to have you all celebrate with us!
