Is there a dress code?
Answer
We've opted to make our wedding Black-Tie preferred. And as far as we're concerned, there's no such thing as being too dressed up! Ladies, we encourage formal, full-length evening gowns for the night of the wedding. Our venue does include some grass, so we recommend a thicker heel. Gentlemen, tuxedos are preferred. Please toss on that tux or favorite well-fitting, dark-colored suit with a tie! For the Welcome Party on Saturday night, please wear primarily BLACK & dress to impress! Cocktail attire is preferred. Can I bring a date?
Answer
Due to venue capacity, all guests, including dates, invited to our wedding will be addressed on your save the dates/invitation. If you are unsure, when you RSVP and type in your name, you will see if you have a plus one. We appreciate your understanding!

ARE KIDS WELCOME?
Answer
We love and adore your kids but thought you would like the weekend off, so we are having an adults-only wedding weekend. There will be no children at our wedding or at any of the weekend's festivities. Thank you for understanding!

What are the lodging arrangements?
Answer
We will have room blocks near the wedding venue with a shuttle service to and from the venue. You can find these under the "Travel" tab. Guests will be able to stay wherever they would like. AirBnB/VRBO have great options in Asheville, though transportation will be coordinated with our hotel blocks only.

IS THERE TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM THE VENUE?
Answer
There will be transportation to and from the venue the night of the wedding, September 1. We'll offer transportation from the hotels with room blocks. Shuttle departure times: The Inn at Biltmore Estate - 4:10 p.m. The Village Hotel at Biltmore Estate - 4:30 p.m. The Hamton Inn at Biltmore Village - 4:30 p.m. If you're staying at an AirBnB or another hotel, keep in mind that you'll have to meet at one of the hotels to take advantage of the shuttle service. You're also more than welcome to drive yourself. Be sure to park in parking lot A (as close as you can to the top of the lot.) Ubers/Lyfts are permitted on the estate, but the availability for pick-up may be limited, so we recommend making use of our transportation service or having a backup plan if you choose this route.
