We met in 2011 as incoming freshmen at Northern Kentucky University competing for the cross country & track team. Our college experiences were astronomically different. Trevin preferred running around the halls in a speedo and singing to strangers, while I preferred hanging out with my close friends and trying to survive midterms/finals as a Biology major. Needless to say, it took a while before I agreed to actually go on a date with the wildcard we all know and love. Our first date set the bar pretty high. I think it's because he had to plan something I felt like I couldn't say no to. He took me to see The Nutcracker and even spoiled me with delicious Italian food in beautiful Downtown Cincinnati. He has managed to keep me engaged and on my toes for the last 7 years. He makes me smile and laugh every day, pushes me to do things outside of my comfort zone, and supports me in all I do. I could not ask for a better best friend, life partner, and my forever teammate.

A very successful, wealthy lawyer, Colleen McKiernan, hires a beautiful and unlikely lot lizard, Trevin Peterson, from The Big Critt to bring along to various business events. An attraction develops between the two, and Colleen finds it harder and harder to let the infectious, kind-hearted Trevy go.
