Camp Pennekamp is just one of many places, but it's a state park that offers boat tours, kayak rentals, and snorkel/dive... although there has been a lot of coral bleaching since Kelsey snorkeled it in 8th grade. =/
Swim with Dolphins
One of our guests is a marine biologist and he just loves dolphins. Pete can tell you all about these magical sea mammals and their fan club... *sarcasm* There really are several educational centers nearby though and if you play your cards right Pete might tell you where the good fishing/lobstering is.

Fantasy Fest
So... it turns out that Fantasy Fest is the next weekend. Keep that in mind if you were thinking "we'll take the rest of the week off and check out Key West." Don't say you weren't warned. ;-)
hurricane season...
Yes, we realize that it's hurricane season. Life (and weddings) happen all year in Florida. Hopefully, this is a non-issue, but we did insure the event in case our big day is impacted. That would cover most of our expenses and we'd try to help you recoup any sunk costs. Hotels and airlines are likely to refund/cancel reservations if NOAA sees a storm coming during your planned travel (they don't want the liability). The risk is greater that a storm damages the area beforehand. We have a clause to confirm availability 30 days out, as well as the option to cancel if there is tropical depression or greater projected within 3 days of our event... The Floridians know that some of the best parties are hurricane parties, but let's hope we get fun in the sun!
