It all started at the Tap Room! Dominique was waiting on the bathroom line when she noticed Dylan and approached him. If you know him well, Dylan loves to talk after chugging a few beers...he eventually asked for her number and let her resume her place in line. The next day they began chatting and after a week, Dominique agreed to go on a date.
Dylan picked up Dominique for their first date at a Japanese restaurant, Kumo. As Dominique was unfamiliar with the cuisine, she ordered one of everything Dylan ordered. From that moment, Dylan knew he was in good company. They talked, laughed, ate, as Dylan realized Dominique had one hell of an appetite and this might be the start of something great. After dinner Dylan was a gentleman and opened Dominique's car door to drive her home. At that moment she knew he was a keeper.
Four days after their first date, Dylan asked Dominique if she wanted to grab food again. With the obvious answer being yes, they went to Local Burger in Bay Shore. During this date they learned there's always room for food in good company. On the way home, Dominique leaned in to give Dylan a kiss on the cheek and thank him for a nice time as he pulled her in for their very first kiss. The two knew there would be another in the days to follow.
After some time dating, Dylan decided to take more time to himself. Although Dominique was heartbroken as she knew she had found her person, she honored his wishes and gave him time. They became the best of friends, foodies the say the least, and as the story goes..Dylan came back to Dominique.
The day was perfectly planned! Dominique was packing her bags to move her life to New Jersey to start her career as Dylan pleaded to take her to Montauk for quality time. Once they arrived at the lighthouse, Dylan and Dominique began to talk about their future as Dylan got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. Without hesitation, Dominique said yes! With much excitement, photographed pictures, the two went on their way to grab lunch and enjoy the most perfect day ever.
