Question

Is there transportation to and from the airport?

Answer

Yes, transportation was included with your room pricing when you booked through the travel agent. When you paid the invoice, there should've been a link to enter your flight information to ensure the transportation is set up. Please contact Rena at rshannon@destinationweddings.com if you need assistance with this.

Are there items you recommend bringing?

Answer

The resort has a shop where you can purchase medicine, sunscreen, etc. however the prices are pretty high. I would recommend bringing sunscreen with you as well as bug spray. Additionally, we recommend bringing 1s and 5s to tip employees around the resort (bartenders, servers, etc.).

What are the testing requirements when flying back to the USA?

Answer

Regardless of your vaccination status, every person is required to have a negative COVID test no more than 1 day before you travel by air into the United States. You must show your negative result to the airline before you board your flight. The resort offers testing for a small fee, and this should be scheduled when you check in.

Do I need to take a test before my return flight if I have had COVID recently?

Answer

The CDC states that "if you recently recovered from COVID-19, you may instead travel with documentation of recovery from COVID-19 (i.e., your positive COVID-19 viral test result on a sample taken no more than 90 days before the flight’s departure from a foreign country and a letter from a licensed healthcare provider or a public health official stating that you were cleared to travel)."

Are masks required at the resort?

Answer

Masks are only required in certain areas of the resort (ex. restaurants, casino, shops), but are not required if you are outside or by the pool.
