Question

Can I bring a Plus One?

Answer

As much as we would love to welcome everyone to celebrate the day with us, due to space limitations, we are unable to accommodate plus ones for everyone. Therefore, we regretfully ask our guests not to bring a pulse one, unless they are specifically named on the invitation. Thank you for your understading.

Question

Where should I stay on Oahu?

Answer

We do not have a hotel block at Ala Moana Hotel. There are many hotels in the Waikiki/Ala Moana area that are located close by our reception venue. If you need recommendations, please feel free to reach out to us

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see you dressed in formal/semi-formal attire. Put on something nice for all the great upcoming IG pics!

Question

Parking at St. John church in Mililani?

Answer

There is ample free parking in the church's parking lot. The church is about 30-35mins from Ala Moana/Waikiki area without traffic.

Question

Parking at Ala Moana Hotel?

Answer

Parking Structure Clearance: 5ft 11in Taller cars can be accommodated with valet. Self-parking in structure with fee, there will be validation stamps for your parking ticket at the reception and will end up being $10 when you drive home

Question

Parking at Ala Moana Shopping Center?

Answer

You can park in the mall parking structure, but will need to PAY via QR code. Best entrance is the pedestrian bridge on level 2 near Macy's. There are posters with QR codes explaining payment options. If you do not pay for your parking, you risk your own tow/ticket. The mall closes prior to the end of our party. You may continue to have your vehicle parked in the Ala Moana Shopping Center parking structure, even after the mall has closed, as long as you have PAID with the QR code.

Question

Can I take pictures and videotape during the ceremony?

Answer

You may take pictures and video during the ceremony, although we ask you to be mindful of those around you. We will have a professional photographer and videographer throughout the day to capture all the special moments. We also kindly ask for no flash use on your recording devices. Please keep in mind that the ceremony is a mass and we please ask to not approach the altar to record.

Question

Do I need to be Catholic to come to the Wedding Ceremony?

Answer

No, you do not need to be Catholic to attend the wedding ceremony. This will be a traditional Catholic Matrimony Mass, you are all welcome to join this celebration. Regardless if you participate in the order of mass, we would love for you all to be there.

For all the days along the way
