Break out your festive cocktail attire! Think dresses and suits with ties. Ohio State ties are welcome. The most important thing is that you feel your best and come ready to dance the night away!
It will likely be on the colder side (think 40s), so definitely bring cozy sweaters and layers to walk around town in. All of our wedding weekend events will be inside to avoid running into weather-related issues.
From NYC, you can rent a car, take the Hampton Jitney bus, or take the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) right into downtown Greenport. Please see our Travel & Lodging page for more details, especially if you are flying into town.

Absolutely, we’d never let you leave hungry! There will be passed hors d’oeuvres, followed by the rollout of a salad, pizza, and pasta bar. Can you say mini-cheesecakes for dessert?
Uber and Lyft are not readily available in Greenport, especially in the winter months. If you don’t plan to rent a car, there are several local cab companies listed on our Travel & Lodging page that we recommend.
About a 5-10 minute drive! Just far enough that we don’t suggest walking.
Yes! We will be renting shuttle buses that will pickup and drop off guests at the Harbor Front Inn on Front Street in the center of town before and after the wedding. More details will be provided closer to our wedding date.
Short Answer: Yes! Long Answer: We strongly encourage everyone to take advantage of our buses, but there is parking available at both locations. For Claudio's, there's street parking on Main St. and Front St. as well as a parking lot on 143 South St. that's a 5-minute walk to the restaurant. For the Sound View, there is free valet parking available for wedding guests. If you're staying at the hotel, there's $20 per day parking fee.
Our ceremony will be unplugged so we can all have a meaningful, screen-less moment together. Don’t worry, our wonderful photographers will be there to capture the magic for us. That said, we encourage you to take as many photos as your heart desires the rest of the day!
