Fly Into Barcelona

We recommend that guests fly into Barcelona (Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport). This is the closest international airport, and many airlines offer direct flights, including American Airlines, Iberia, and British Airways.

Transportation to the H10 Madison from Barcelona Airport

The easiest way to get from the airport to the hotel is by taxi or Uber. The A1 bus also takes you from the Barcelona Airport (Terminal 1) to Plaza Catalunya - Andana Central. From there, it is about a 10 minute walk to the hotel. Google Maps works quite well in Barcelona, but please be sure to look up your route before leaving the airport, as your cellular data plan may not work in Spain. There is free WiFi at the Barcelona airport. You may want to contact your phone carrier for more information or purchase a prepaid e-SIM before your trip.

Rental Car

Car Rental at Barcelona Airport

WE DO NOT RECOMMEND RENTING A CAR IN BARCELONA. It can be difficult to get around, and parking can be expensive and hard to come by. The H10 Madison hotel does not have parking on-site; however, if you do rent a car, the Saba Catedral garage (Plaça d'Antoni Maura, Av. de la Catedral, Ciutat Vella, 08002 Barcelona, Spain) is a three minute walk from the hotel.

We have made arrangements for everyone to stay at the H10 Madison hotel in Barcelona. We hope you will join us at the hotel for a welcome dinner at The Avenue Restaurant and after-dinner drinks at the rooftop Terrassa del Gòtic on Saturday, December 27th. The wedding ceremony and reception will be held in Rubió, which is about an hour away from the hotel. We will be providing a guest shuttle to and from the venue. Getting Around While In Barcelona

The H10 Madison hotel is centrally located in Barcelona's Gothic Quarter. We recommend exploring the area on foot, as there are many attractions just a short walk away. Taxis and Ubers are easy to come by in Barcelona, but they can get expensive. Public transportation is inexpensive and very reliable in Barcelona, so we encourage you to take the metro or buses whenever possible. The metro in Barcelona operates from 5 am until midnight Monday through Thursday and until 2 am on Fridays. On Saturdays (and public holidays), the metro runs 24 hours a day until Sunday at midnight. Google Maps works quite well in Barcelona and is a great tool for getting around. However, please be sure to look up your route before leaving the hotel (or other area with reliable WiFi).
