Sofitel Buenos Aires Recoleta
Our main hotel block is at Sofitel Recoleta. This will be our pick-up & drop-off point for transportation to and from wedding events. To reserve in the wedding block, please e-mail <paula.silvestro@sofitel.com> - include the following information: - Your name - Check-in/ Check-out date - Number of guests in your room - Wedding block: Liam Duddy & Clara Di Vincenzo. * If you are staying in the hotel block, the cut-off date to reserve your stay is January 10th, 2024. * You will not need to pay until arrival. You can pay at check-in with Argentine pesos for a discounted rate.

Flying Into Buenos Aires
International flights will arrive into Ezeiza International Airport (EZE). Direct flights into EZE are available through the following airlines/ departure cities: - American Airlines: Dallas, Miami, New York City - United Airlines: Houston - Delta Airlines: Atlanta, Miami, New York City - Aerolineas Argentinas: Miami, New York
Flight
Domestic Travel
For those of you traveling around Argentina, we recommend booking your Argentine domestic travel flights ~3 months prior to the wedding. The domestic airline is Aerolineas Argentinas, which operates out of Aeroparque Jorge Newbery (AEP). Avoid close connections between your international arrival and domestic travel, as B.A. traffic can be unpredictable. A transfer between EZE airport and AEP takes ~90 minutes.

Money Exchanges
Argentina has multiple exchange rates, some of which are more favorable than others. While the banks give the official exchange rate, it’s best to exchange your dollars at the “dollar blue” rate. More info on the dollar blue rate can be found here: https://bluedollar.net We will provide our guests with assistance exchanging USD to Argentine Pesos upon arrival to the hotel - more details to come as we get closer to the wedding weekend.

Transportation
For all scheduled wedding festivities, we will have shuttles to transport guests to and from the hotel block at Sofitel. We will send out a detailed transportation schedule as we get closer to the wedding weekend. For transportation around the city, you can use Taxis, Uber, or Cabify.
