Question

May we bring our children to the welcome dinner, ceremony and/or reception?

Answer

We adore your children but we have very limited space and intend to party. Please make the scheduled wedding events "date nights" and enjoy the love and romance in the air at 8,120 ft. Thank you! xoxo

Question

May we bring our children to Vail for the wedding weekend?

Answer

Absolutely. Vail is a family town with wonderful memories to be made. We just ask that you get a babysitter, relative, friend, or your nanny to care for your children during the scheduled wedding festivities.

Question

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

No. The most important thing is to have you with us as we celebrate our special day. No gifts are needed or expected. We have been asked what we need or would like, and if you do wish to give us something, a donation to Cane Rosso Rescue or the charity of your choice would be great but only if you wish to participate. Cane Rosso Rescue is a volunteer-based 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based in Dallas, Texas. They focus on providing transportation, foster care, veterinary treatment, and other essential needs for dogs who have been abused, abandoned and are homeless. Their work is incredible. They also support other local area dog rescue organizations. Cane Rosso Rescue is changing the lives of abused and forgotten dogs one dog at a time. http://www.canerossorescue.org/

Question

How do I dress for Vail in July?

Answer

The easiest way to answer this....dress in layers. Average daytime temps in July are 77 degrees with average nighttime temps at 41. In the summertime, it's common to have brief afternoon showers. Temps can change at any given moment on any given day. That's Colorado for you. Definitely bring a lightweight down coat, jean jacket, leather coat, sweater or light cashmere wrap for evenings. A windbreaker or light shell for daytime if the wind picks up. Wedge sandals, flats, flip flops and tennis shoes are the easiest way to navigate Vail's cobblestone streets. Vail has a casual/dressy casual vibe. Jeans and work out clothing are the norm for everyday apparel. If you plan to hike, bring proper hiking shoes, a hat with a brim, sunscreen, sunglasses and a water bottle. Be sure to goop on the sunscreen and wear sunglasses. We are at high altitude (8120 feet) and even when it is cloudy, the sun's rays are intense and you can burn quickly.

Question

Asking for a friend...Are Michele Crepeau and Logan Yonce available for pre-wedding private dance lessons for things like first dances, etc.?

Answer

They sure are talented, aren't they? Likely to own "best dance couple" for the weekend. Hands down. We'll ask. ;)
