Mount Olive Lutheran Church (where the ceremony will take place) is active in its South Minneapolis neighborhood, providing services that include free community meals, a reduced-price diaper bank, laundry vouchers, and emergency rental assistance. Gifts to the Mount Olive Neighborhood Ministries program will go directly to supporting those in need.

A Shakespeare theater in Richard's hometown of Staunton, Virginia. Richard grew up seeing plays at ASC. He, and many of his friends and family members, have volunteered or worked for ASC. Richard just finished his second term on the ASC board.

A food bank in El Paso, Texas (where we lived from 2021 - 2022). 1 in 5 people in El Paso face food insecurity and EPFH does important work taking care of the community. Alternatively, we encourage you to give to a local food bank near you. Valley Mission and Blue Ridge Area Food Bank are two options for the Virginians.

Jessica was active at Advent Lutheran Church, on Manhattan's Upper West Side, while she was a student at Union Theological Seminary. In 2023, Advent's community lunch and food pantry distributed over half a million meals to New Yorkers. Donations to Advent's Food Ministries will directly support these services.

We unexpectedly fell in love with birdwatching during our adventures in the desert southwest. Cornell Labs is a large bird research and conservancy organization that makes the popular Merlin phone app (which has been a key tool in helping us grow as birders).
