FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30. We strongly encourage arriving 15 minutes before the ceremony begins. We cannot guarantee you will be able to attend the ceremony if you're late.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is formal, black-tie optional (i.e., Women: formal gowns, cocktail dresses, or dressy suits. Men: suit, dress slacks, and collared shirts). We do not have a recommended color palette for our guests but our wedding colors include hunter green, sage, and gold.

Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

If weather permits our ceremony will be held in the courtyard. In the event that it rains the ceremony will take place indoors. The cocktail hour and reception will be held indoors.

Question

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at a hotel?

Answer

Yes, please see the "travel" tab for any inquiries about hotel accommodations.

Question

What is the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue?

Answer

The easiest way to get to the venue is the shuttle from the hotel. However, if you choose to drive or stay at a different hotel there is onsite valet parking.

Question

What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues? Are they wheelchair accessible?

Answer

The wedding ceremony and reception will take place at the same venue. The address is 38 Lackawanna Ave, Totowa, NJ 07512. This venue is wheelchair accessible.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We want everyone to be able to enjoy our adult-only celebration. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate children.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, drinks are on us! We recommend cash for tips to the bartenders.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

This will be an unplugged ceremony. We are asking our guests to refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony. We want our photographer to capture our wedding without any distractions or pictures of others taking pictures. We will reserve a segment where you can take pictures of your own. This will be announced during the event.

Question

I can't attend the wedding in person. Will there be a virtual wedding celebration?

Answer

Yes, we are making accommodations for a virtual option for the ceremony.
