Nicole and Christine first crossed paths at work 3 years before they actually met. Both of their departments work closely together and Christine first noticed Nicole when she was working as a nurse in her office. Later that day, Nicole sped out of the parking lot almost hitting Christine's car. Fate brought them back together 3 years later when they matched on a dating app. Christine instantly recognized Nicole as the nurse from Urology and messaged her on the dating app. They spoke for a few weeks then went their separate ways. Fate again intervened and brought them back together at Cherrys in Fire Island and the rest is history.

Nicole proposed to Christine at a beautiful winery out on the east end with Christine's close friends. Christine thought she was going to the winery with just her friends that day. The whole morning Nicole was acting strange, she was not rushing to drop Christine off at the winery and even turned onto the wrong exit on the highway. Christine arrived at the winery and her friends ordered a bottle of wine. On the bottle it said "Let's share this bottle and our lives together, will you marry me?" and Nicole emerged and got down on one knee <3
