Emerald Bay State Park
A ~28 minute drive from Edgewood with a scenic outlook of Lake Tahoe! One of our personal favorites and have a photograph of this view (that Betsy Carothers took!) in our dining room at home.
Cascade Falls Trail
This is a beautiful trail to a gorgeous waterfall within Emerald Lake State Park across from Inspiration Point. There are many vantage points with excellent views of Cascade Lake, Emerald Bay, and Lake Tahoe along the way.
Fallen Leaf Lake Trail
This trail begins from the Fallen Leaf Campground and follows along the shoreline of Fallen Leaf Lake. There are beautiful lake and forest views along the way. There are many opportunities to head down to the lakes shore to stop for a break and eat lunch.
