How do I address the couple?
Answer
Allison and Chris have NOT changed or hyphenated their last names. If you are addressing or referring to the couple in conversation or in a card, please just use 'Allison and Chris' or 'Ms. Faber and Mr. Sowden'.

Do I get a plus one?
Answer
Please refer to the names listed on your Save the Date and formal invitation. If 'Josh Allen' is listed, Josh Allen is invited. If 'Josh Allen and Guest' are listed, two people have been invited. Josh has the option to bring a guest of their choosing. If 'Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs' are listed, both Josh and Stefon are invited. Guests of the invitees will be confirmed after formal invitations have been distributed. If you require a plus one due to travel arrangements, please reach out to Allison.

To wear, and not to wear
Answer
The dress code for the wedding will be solid fall colors for women and black, brown, and khaki suits for men. For our non-binary pals please include fall colors in your outfit! Fall colors include; plum, burnt orange, maroon, etc. White is just for Allison, as it is her day to shine!

What's the venue set up?
Answer
The ceremony will take place in the vineyard at Deer Run. Be mindful of heeled footwear as the ceremony will be grassed. The cocktail hour and reception will take place within Deer Run's Pavillion adjacent to the ceremony location. The Pavillion is indoors with large doors surrounding its perimeter to let the breeze through flow and keep you cool. The wedding will take place at the beginning of fall, so please bring a jacket or shawl to keep you warm if need be! If there is harsh weather, all events will take place inside the Pavillion.

Why don't you have plates or towels on your registry?
Answer
Chris and Allison have been living together for over 5 years and in lieu of physical gifts that will just end up getting stored in the ever-growing attic storage, they would love memories stored in their hearts. Allison and Chris love to travel and would love to have their closest friends and family help participate in a trip of a lifetime. Going to Oktoberfest in Germany, trying Lindt truffles in Switzerland, and admiring the romantic culture in Italy is a bit better than a toaster.
