Chloe and Kevin met at a party in Hong Kong a week before Halloween in 2014. It didn't take long for Kevin to ask Chloe for her number. The two spent the next couple of days talking about Halloween costumes, and they both found each other really funny and interesting - that's when they took their interactions from texts to in person and started hanging out, then eventually going on dates!

Chloe grew up in Hong Kong and attended college at the University of California, Berkeley where she majored in Media Studies. She returned to Hong Kong after graduation and started her career in PR & Marketing in luxury retail. Meanwhile, over 8,000 miles away, Kevin was born and raised on Long Island, New York alongside his younger brother, Eric. He attended high school in Roslyn before studying at the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University. Instead of entering the field of hospitality, shortly after graduation, he moved to Hong Kong to work at a hedge fund (and eventually to meet someone very special!) Despite the vastly different backgrounds, they somehow ended up at the same party in Hong Kong and began their relationship! Two years in, Kevin decided to return to New York to pursue an MBA. While the physical distance apart would be hard for both of them, Chloe still supported his decision entirely and started their long-distance relationship. During this time, even though Chloe and Kevin were both very busy respectively with work and school, they still stayed very close and even managed to see each other at least twice a year - whether it was in Hong Kong, New York, or other cities!

When Kevin got a job offer in New York City, that's when he knew it was time to take their relationship to the next stage. Kevin planned an intimate proposal at his parent's home in Westchester, New York. He took Chloe's hands and asked her to spend the rest of her life with him. With their family's witness and blessing, the two became happily engaged! Everything was perfect, but Chloe wished she had got a picture of Kevin down on his knee!

Chloe and Kevin's wedding was supposed to happen in 2020, but the COVID pandemic hit. They had to make the difficult decision to postpone the wedding - more than once. After multiple changes in the dates and 1,008 days later, the long-antipated wedding will finally happen in April 2023 in New York City! Chloe and Kevin can't thank you enough for your patience and they are really looking forward to celebrating with you at the Metropolitan Club!
