Reno Tahoe International Airport
Fly into Reno Tahoe International Airport. The drive from the airport is about an hour, so you can either rent a car, uber/lyft, or shuttle from the airport to South Lake Tahoe. If you take the shuttle, the shuttle service stop to take is the one for Harvey’s, which is right across the street from Basecamp. The website is: https://southtahoeairporter.com/current-schedule/

Discounted rooms are available at Basecamp Hotel under #TorresInTahoe2021. June is a popular travel month, so it is recommended that you secure your hotel room as soon as possible. If in doubt between the options below, then stay at Basecamp. While it’s not the most high-end option, it will be where the bridal party and the majority of younger guests will be staying.

This is a more expensive hotel option right across the street from Lakeside Beach and just down the street from the Basecamp Hotel.

Marriott’s Timber Lodge or Marriott’s Grand Residences
We know a few guests have a bunch of Marriott points, so they may want to stay here. It is a five minute walk to the Basecamp Hotel.

Zephyr Cove Resort

Zephyr Cove Resort has cute cabins with small kitchens that accommodate between 2 and 9 people, so it would be perfect if you want to make our wedding weekend into an extended vacation for your group. They book up quickly, however, so they wouldn't let us reserve a block of rooms. If you choose this option, you will need to arrange for an Uber/Lyft to the ceremony, but the shuttle can take you back. It is a 7 minute drive to Pittman Terrace.

Edgewood Resort
This is the most opulent option and the grounds are spectacular, but it is a longer walk (.8 mile) from where the shuttles will leave at the Basecamp Hotel. If you choose this option, you may want to ask about the Edgewood shuttle that brings people around town. They may be able to bring you directly from the hotel to the ceremony.

There are also many VRBO and Airbnb options, as well as many other hotels between Pittman Terrace and the South Lake Tahoe and Stateline areas.
