Meet and Greet
8:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Casual Attire: Anything goes, from sundresses and sandals to jeans and tees.
We expect that most guests will be staying at Basecamp Hotel, South Lake Tahoe. We will be doing a meet and greet Friday evening in the Basecamp Hotel Courtyard, so feel free to drop by. There’s no need to RSVP because it is just a casual no-host food and beverage location (bar food). It’s also no problem not coming by if you aren’t in town yet or just aren’t up to it – we will see you the next day!

SHUTTLES FROM BASECAMP HOTEL TO CEREMONY AND RECEPTION
1:30 pm - 2:15 pm
Since there is absolutely no parking at the venue (nor do we want any DUI’s at our wedding), we will be providing shuttles to take everyone from Basecamp Hotel to Pittman Terrace and back. Please help us shuttle people as efficiently as possible by getting on the first available shuttle at Basecamp Hotel, even if it means you are on a different shuttle than your friend. You will see them at Pittman Terrace, where food and drinks will be immediately available! There will be two shuttles leaving at 1:30, and two shuttles leaving at 2:15 from the Basecamp Hotel. If you are not staying at Basecamp Hotel, it would be greatly appreciated if you would arrange to uber yourself to 1438 Pittman Terrace, arriving any time between 2:00 and 2:45. One shuttle will be available all evening to take you back to South Lake Tahoe (regardless of whether you are staying at Basecamp or elsewhere between Pittman and Basecamp), so don’t worry about getting “stuck” at the reception with no escape!
Ceremony
3:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Both the ceremony and reception will take place at Chelsea's parents' backyard. The ceremony will be short and sweet, and drinks will be available both before and after the ceremony. You are more than welcome to Uber/Lyft instead of taking the shuttle from Basecamp, but there is no parking at all at Pittman Terrace (please do not bring your own car). If you come via your own Uber/Lyft, please plan on arriving between 2:00 and 2:45.
Reception

The wedding party will be in traditional formal wedding garb, but it's up to you if you want to go more casual. Regardless of what you choose to wear on your body, comfortable shoes on your feet are highly recommended (Chelsea’s wearing Birkenstocks and Rafael’s wearing boots) because the yard is uneven and rocky. We do not want any (unintentional) falls over the cliff and into the lake.
This will be a party! The reception will be predominantly outside, so bring a jacket because it can get chilly (we will have ample storage for jackets, so you don't have to carry it around). To minimize health concerns, most food will be in smaller single servings which will be distributed through servers. Additionally, there will be no assigned seating, so guests can sit or stand wherever they choose.

Checkout time from Basecamp is 11:00 am. We will officially be on our honeymoon, so we don’t care what you do… as long as you don’t plan on doing it with us! Please feel free to meet up with other guests and check out our “Things to do” tab to enjoy more of our favorite things in Tahoe!
