Our favorite neighborhood! Lots of great restaurants (Lockharts BBQ, Oddfellows, Tribal All Day Cafe are our favorites) shops, and drinks!
We love HG Sply (amazing rooftop views!), Truck Yard (VERY unique patio), and lots of other little bars and restaurants.
Dallas' 150 year old neighborhood full of arts, music, and culture. One of the most popular places to visit when you come to Dallas!
We both love being by the water, and while it can be hard to come by in Dallas, White Rock Lake is a little escape!
Take a stroll through Uptown Dallas. Emma's favorite place to get a workout in! Start downtown near the American Airlines center, stop in at Katy Trail Ice House for a refreshing drink, and enjoy a little nature in the city. You can even get a scooter and ride through the Design District to get to the trail entrance near American Airlines Center from Tru or DoubleTree Hotels.
Right around the corner from Tru and DoubleTree Hotels - you've got lots of breweries and restaurants. -Bishop Cidercade is KID FRIENDLY and $5 or $10 all you can play video games -Pegasus City Brewing -Rodeo Goat Burgers -DeLucca Pizza (a Brazilian Pizza Buffet?!? Sounds crazy, but super cool spot!)
A little further out from our Dallas city life, but you can see a good ol' Texas Rodeo or catch the Longhorns parade through the street.
Super great science museum for the kids (and adults!)
Dallas Cowboys HQ! A little drive north of Dallas, but nothing is too far for true Cowboy fans! Located at the heart of The Star in Frisco, headquarters of the Dallas Cowboys, The District offers more than 35 restaurants, shops, and specialty services.
