When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please be sure to RSVP and book your room by Dec 30th. The resort has set specific timelines we need to meet, and your timely response is greatly appreciated!

Do I have to stay at Hotel Mousai?

Answer

The room block is specifically reserved at Hotel Mousai for our guests. You are welcome to stay elsewhere during your trip, but you may miss out on certain events due to the fact that Hotel Mousai does not offer day passes and you will only end up being granted access when the ceremony and reception are being held on the day of wedding. We want to hang out with all our friends and family, so we would love if everyone stayed at the hotel at least during the wedding activities!!! We do understand that it is pricey, so with that being said if other accommodations would best fit your needs that is okay too!

When should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 430pm on April 10th. Check in time at the hotel is 4pm each day. To guarantee a stress free arrival, we suggest booking your travel to arrive in Puerto Vallarta no later than Wednesday, April 9th.

How do I get from the airport to the hotel?

We are currently working on group transportation for our guests. We will update you once we have more information.

What days should I stay?

Answer

The room block is set up for April 9th- 12th, but the group rate is applicable for 3 days before and after that. Chase and Krista are planning on an extended stay the 8th- 14th and would love to spend that time with you! Please note, the ceremony will begin late afternoon on April 10th.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we love all of your kids, we have decided to keep our ceremony and reception for adults only. Garza Blanca does allow children, but Hotel Mousai is an adults only hotel and is the only location you can use our room block. The amenities and events at Mousai will not be accessible for Garza Blanca guests. We hope you can take this as an opportunity for a fun and relaxing kids-free vacation!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/ cocktail attire. The ceremony and reception will be taking place outdoors in the Tierra Luna Gardens. We want everyone to look their best, so we politely ask for no shorts, jeans, or flip flops at the ceremony and reception.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to budget and space limitations, we simply cannot extend a plus one to all of our lovely guests. Therefore, we ask our guests to please not bring a plus one, unless they are specifically named or designated on the invitation. Thank you so much for your understanding!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let us know if you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions so we can best accommodate you during our cocktail hour and reception! “Hotel Mousai is very mindful of dietary preferences, which is why all of our restaurants offer vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free meal options”.

How can I prepare?

Answer

Lots of sunscreen and make sure you have your swimming trunks. Please keep in mind, communication may be tough based on your cellphone provider. If you have an Iphone, congratulations, you can Imessage over the wifi! For those of you that don't respect yourselves, What's App is a fantastic communication app to use when connected to the internet that I highly advise downloading ahead of time to avoid potential roaming fees. And lastly, be ready to party!!!
