Maid of Honor
You're lucky if you have friends in your life who love you unconditionally, but you're even luckier if that friend happens to be your older sister. Growing up, she was the one who taught me how to read chapter books, plucked my eyebrows for me, and let me borrow (AKA keep) her clothes. We share more than just a common love of dogs, cooking, and lounging around at home--we're just each other's person. Fun fact: She speaks in a French accent when she's pumped up about something.
Best Man
We were a cut from the same fabric of different colors. I don't think anyone would have thought we'd end up being best buds when we met in college, but no matter how different we were on the outside we both grew to find out we were brothers from different mothers. Jung is the one guy I trust most in this world and if he needed an arm, I'd give him both. This guy is one of the most hard-working, honest, and dedicated men I've ever met. He's seen me at my best and my absolute worst (even that one time I threw ice cream on the ground). He's a greater friend than I could ever be to him, and I'm blessed to call him my best friend and Best Man.
Bridesmaid
I met Helen in Davis during our undergraduate years when we decided to go to the same campus ministry. From cramming for our midterms to watching all our favorite shows together in our PJs, we became inseparable our freshman year. You know the kind of friend who loves to try new things and has a deep appreciation for everything? That's her. She's the kind of friend who will both laugh and cry with you and helps you see the humor in all things. Fun fact: She's an active member in her community book club and acts in plays during her free time!
Groomsman
My one and only Big Bro. They say you can't pick your family, but Charley is the exception. I've only had one and I'll only have one in this life, but I already know I lucked out and got the best big brother in this world. He's there 100% of the time - no questions asked. A master griller/smoker and the one guy I believe who is capable of doing anything. He's definitely the manliest of men who's got a big heart to help others and put himself second. I look up to him and he has been a part of many of both my fondest memories and biggest challenges in life.
Bridesmaid
Met this girl when we were kids in school and knew we were going to be best friends when we started eating each other's lunches, passing notes nonstop in class, and trusting each other with anything and everything. We share clothes, share stories, and share life together. Nothing's changed since then! Fun fact: She's been known to paint murals in her free time!
Groomsman
It was Middle School and we had an art project. After sketches of Doraemon, green teas, and sleepovers we instantly became best friends (we both got A's on our project too). He's Mr. Do-It-All and the most hardworking guy I know. My brother from another mother since eighth grade and throughout our 20's - we can go months without barely talking and then pick up like we never left off. We're destined to be brothers for life.
Bridesmaid
One of the friends who you can crack up with while also keeping it real. I met Christine as kids and we reconnected as friends in college where we became roommates for two years. Late night talks, cooking meals together, and sharing our faith with each other made college so sweet. Fun fact: She loves rap and hip-hop, and she once included Tupac as an example in one of her classroom lesson plans!
Groomsman
One of the first friends I made moving back to the Bay. Sharing a love for nerdy inclinations as well as badminton, James and I helped each other make it through some tough times through prayer and encouragement. He's a brother in Christ and one of the best and most talented guys I know. I consider him to be wise beyond his years because he’s always given a graceful perspective on any trying situation.
Bridesmaid
You know the friend who always has the best advice and knows exactly how to support you? That's Karen. We met in 6th grade...fast forward 15 years, and she's now more sister than friend. You're blessed when you have someone who unconditionally cheers you on, randomly spoils you with mochi donuts, and always makes time to fit you in a busy schedule. Fun fact: She has the biggest collection of board games out of everyone that I know, and will take you down if you let her!
Groomsman
I feel like we've have known each other forever. We've met in campus ministry in college, and going to retreats, chapels, and fellowships were so much easier knowing Brian was there. He is one of the first people to call and check-in and to try and make sure he keeps in touch. Brian is one of the most loyal and genuine guys I know, and over the past 8 years has really become one of my closest friends.
Bridesmaid
A friend with the biggest heart and appreciation for life, Jocelyn is a friend whom you can tell anything to and know that she will support you, pray for you, and say the right things to cheer you up. She's the life of the party, the one with the best stories, and just has that sense of style that won't quit! We met in 7th grade and the rest is history. Fun fact: She loves k-pop and all things Korean, even to the extent that she taught herself how to read and write it!
Groomsman
Life was never the same after meeting Bryan. I have never in my life met someone that can make me laugh and at the same time want to kill him a minute later. He's brought out the best in me and much, much more of the worst in me (but in a good way). He's the guy I have the most stories with and our adventures together will be forever immortalized between us...but hopefully remained buried from the rest of the world.
