How did you know we were dreaming of those crystal champagne flutes?! They’re by far the most beautiful glasses in our home and we’ve never felt fancier. You’ll have to come over soon so we can toast to you! So excited to see you in June.

What started as a friendship built from close proximity of Peace Corps sites quickly became more.  Our relationship has brought us to many different places, but it all began in the highlands of Guatemala where we both worked in Maternal and Child Health.

Where it all began

Charlie and I lived a 30 minute bus ride away from each other in Guatemala in 2015.  Our friend Carson got to be our third wheel when we finally stopped pretending we were just friends. 2015-2017
I moved to Baltimore to go to nursing school and Charlie moved to NYC to go to graduate school--every couple of weeks one of us was on a Bolt bus going to visit the other. 2018-2019
When school ended I moved to NYC where we rented our first apartment together and hunkered down through the pandemic with our podmate (and officiant) Dichaba! 2019-2022
Our new chapter began this summer in Chicago in the Wicker Park neighborhood and we brought our new puppy Angus along with us :)
