Time to celebrate!

Arielle and Charlie met in 2009 outside of their freshman dormitory, Cance, at UMass Amherst. Charlie was up to his usual tricks, pretending he had seen someone he hadn't and telling a far flung story about the person he did not know. Arielle's new friend, Lucy, heard the tale in progress and recognized the tone as sarcastic nonsense immediately. Arielle, being particular to sarcasm, if not necessarily nonsense, decided to stick around for a while. They spent the rest of that night joking and making new friends, including Andy and Brian. They all agreed to share breakfast together at Berk the next morning. The rest was history!!!

Charlie and Arielle started officially dating their senior year of college (long time coming). After graduating, they moved home with their parents. Arielle went to Stony Brook, NY and Charlie to Billerica, MA. But they had a lot more growing to do. Arielle road tripped across the country, working on farms on the west coast, while Charlie tackled his law degree. Next, they focused on developing their careers. Arielle moved from Pennsylvania to New Hampshire to Boston and Charlie traveled all over the country for work weekly. In 2018, they FINALLY moved into an apartment together in West Newton and adopted a yellow kitty named Santino.

Arielle only loves one thing better than a well laid plan. A well laid plan that she didn't have to make up herself. Charlie had it all figured out. The ring, the day time activity, the romantic dinner, and finally "the spot." But it's hard to keep your cool before such an important day! Three hours before they needed to go, Charlie wanted to get ready. On the cab ride downtown, he asked Arielle if she was nervous! When they got to the Nutcracker, they encountered a metal detector (not your friend with a secret ring hidden in your pocket!). Charlie was so nervous handing Arielle a glass of champagne that his hand was shaking. Later, they dined next to Tony Soprano and Michael Corleone. Finally, they strolled to a beautiful spot under twinkling blue lights at Christopher Columbus Park. Arielle led Charlie to a quiet place along selfie boulevard, and Charlie dropped to a knee....
